Hi, I have been working part time and have also been trading on eBay. I have been paying additional tax on my eBay profits via self assessment as per the HMRC rules for the last 2 years that I have been trading. No problem there. I now intend to stop working for my employer. My only source of income will be from my eBay sales and a monthly draw down on my private pensions. Would I be right in assuming that my eBay income plus my pension drawdown would be classed as my total income and subject to the same rules as all income tax? eg if the total eBay profit & my pension drawdown was less than £12725 pa, it would be tax free? If the total income was £20000k pa, I would be subject to 20% tax on the part above £12725 to £20000? Donna
