Sold family home abroad

I have recently sold a property abroad. My mother have put it in my name around 10 years ago. She have now past away and I have sold the house. I'm looking to transfer around 70k to UK. Do I need to pay Capital Gains Tax? It would be nice if there was a way of contacting HMRC by email ...

Yes, it is likely that Capital Gains Tax will be due on the profit made.
