I am in the process of filing my 2023/24 self assessment and want to double check that I do not need to enter the capital gains info again if there were no gains made. I sold a flat in March this year, which I inherited in 2016, for less than the valuation at time of inheritance. I have already filed a capital gains report earlier this year which shows the loss.

Hi As you are completing a return for the year concerned then you will have to declare the sale on the return as well. Thank you
