Capital Gains - Exchange rates

I have sold a second home in France which we have owned for over 30 years. Where do I find the exchange rates to be used to convert French Francs to sterling for the years 1991 and 1996. I am also having difficulty finding the conversion rates from euros for the years 2004,2008,2009 and 2010.
