Hi, Mandatory Provident Fund is a compulsory saving scheme (pension fund) for the retirement of residents in Hong Kong. It makes profit by making investment on shares or funds. This cannot be withdrawn after retirement. Is this taxable or not for BNO visa holders in case they reach the age of retirement and can withdraw the money? If yes, is this catagorized as capital gain tax? Thanks! Rgds, Hyperion

Hi
The Mandatory Provident Fund is not taxable in the UK.  It is only taxable in Hong Kong.
