My husband and myself jointly owned a holiday home, which we sold almost 2 months ago. The person I spoke to on the CGT helpline was very keen for me not to complete paper CGT forms, so instead I filled in two forms online, one for myself, and one as a capacitor for my husband. I haven’t heard anything since. The payment deadline is a few days away, i.e. it will fall between Christmas and New Year. I can no longer see the form which I filled in for my husband, although I received an email acknowledging it when I originally submitted it in November. My own tax form is still visible online, so I have just paid the amount that I had calculated myself without waiting for contact. Firstly, where on the system menu are CGT forms submitted for someone else? Secondly, is the 60 day payment deadline (and fine fir late payments) applicable to online customers?
