It has taken quite a while to sell our second property with a few offers which didn't work out. In terms of deducting Legal and Marketing costs from my gain, am I able to deduct these costs for the sales that didn't progress (e.g. Legal fees for failed sale and Marketing fees for an agent that failed to sell the property) once the property has sold successfully?
