I don't normally have to do self assessment. I sold a UK property in August 2023. In May/June 2024 I submitted a Capital Gains Tax return and paid Capital Gains Tax. This year I used the online tool to see if I have to submit a self assessment. It asks about income from property. Does this include the income from the sale of the property? And I received it in the tax year 22-23. so should it be entered in a 23-24 tax return?
