CGT on my flat

Hi, I have been living in my flat for the last 5 years, but I have let it out to tenants in the past after living there for 3 years as I had to go abroad. Do I still have to pay CGT on the periods that relate to the letting period even if it's the only flat I own and is my primary residence?
