Hi, In the 2019-20 tax year I had to work from home for some weeks as a result of COVID from March 2020 onwards. I have two questions: 1) I understand that I can claim £4 per week. Does this mean I can claim for the entire year (i.e. 52 weeks) or only for the weeks I worked from home? 2) I have already submitted the self assessment for that year but at the time I did it I was not aware of the possibility of making this expenses claim, so I did not include it. Shall I use your online form to make the claim or should I amend my self-assessment for 2019-20? Thanks.

For 2019/20 you can only claim for the actual weeks you worked at home.

Please amend the tax return:

Thank you.
