The Advisory Fuel rates were reviewed on 1st March when the average price of diesel was 151.1p per litre. The price of diesel has increased by around 20% in the three weeks since this rate was set, and the rate is not due to be reviewed until 1st June. Will HMRC consider a one-off additional review due to the exceptional rapid increase in the cost of diesel? I am now having to subsidise my employer to the tune of 2.5p per mile when driving my company car for business.

I agree, I’m also an EV driver and HMRC are just sitting on their hands whilst prices are going out of control and expenses are not being updated quick enough to reflect this, for both EV and Fuel drivers.
