CW to TA

Hi, Just wondering what would be the logic in transferring goods from CW to TA (CPC 5371). Why not leave the goods in the customs warehouse for re-export or removal to home use at a later date? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

It would depend on the reason for the TA. TA could be used when the use is not permitted in the warehouse or the goods need to be physically used away from the warehouse premises.
