Is there a blanket commodity code for exporting Humanitarian aid from the UK for the crisis in Ukraine? If not how do the rules of origin apply etc. We are trying to aid free of charge the export of goods such as clothes nappies etc to Ukraine via a lorry to Poland to help as much as we can. We are struggling as there are so many items and we need to get these goods over to Poland as soon as possible. If we do a normal export process and detail out all the items via commodity codes then this is a bit counter-productive and also most are dated and second hand so the rules of origin are really hard.

Hi Alan, I hope you don't mind me contacting you as we are in the same boat. We are two men with a van, a shed load of donated cash to fill it with items we intend to purchase, and have a Eurotunnel crossing drive booked on 31st to drive to Warsaw. Did you get anywhere with this or work out the best way to do it? Kind regards, Steve.
