Hello from Canada. Next week I will find myself in your beautiful country. I plan on traveling with two 10 oz bars of silver and observer and two 1 oz bars of gold. They are gifts for my grandchildren. I have gone on the government website and have tried to find some information information. I read that I can bring the items as a gift, but then on another page it said nothing over 390 pounds. Then I try to declare it, there is no option for gold or silver silver on the declaration page. Anybody have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Please see below GOV.UK link - :

Bringing goods into the UK for personal use      .

I would advise contacting the Customs and International trade helpline on 0300 322 9434 for any further assistance.

Thank you.
