My wife solely owned a foreign property. She signed a declaration of trust and 60% of the beneficiary interest derived from this property transferred to me. Can I know should I report this income on my Self Assessment only? any other form (like R185 or SA904) should completed and submitted to HMRC? thank you

Hi,
Taxing rights in respect of foreign property is normally returned to the tax authorities where the property is located, therefore, you need to contact the tax authorities there.
As regards the UK tax position, you should complete a Foreign Page (SA 106) when filing your Self-Assessment Tax Return claiming tax relief on the foreign tax paid if any which may be covered by a Double Taxation Agreement.
Thank you.
