Good evening, My three adult children have just received equal shares of half a residential property gifted by their aunt and uncle. We understand that the aunt and uncle have paid the taxes that they themselves were liable for. The property is currently being marketed for sale at a price that values the half share at £140,000 i.e. less than £47k per giftee. Can I please check that this therefore falls below the threshold and no SDLT form needs to be submitted? Many thanks
