Hi - I'm 61 and stopped work 3 years' ago. I've had a small amount of work over the past couple of years, earning less than £1000, and live off my occupational pension and savings. My NI record shows 37 full years, and 7 not full years. The online record states that I will, at present, receive a full state pension and that 'cannot be improved'. I've been trying to get through on the phone line. I'm not sure of my NI situation between now and retirement age. My questions: 1. Do I need to make voluntary NI contributions to receive a full state pension when I reach retirement age (67)? 2. Does the answer you give to (1) change in any way if I take paid employment in the future? Thanks, Rob
