Hello, My Grand Aunt (81 years old) plans to return to her home country (the Philippines). She´s receiving a state pension and an NHS pension. I understand she will still be able to receive her pensions through the Internal State Pension regardless of whether she´s a non-British national. Could someone please confirm if that´s correct and when we should notify the pension body regarding her change in circumstance? Thank you.

Hi Norma_K,
May I ask that you call the International Pension Centre on 0191 218 7777 (from the UK) or +44 191 218 7777 (from overseas) and they will be able to answer your pension questions.
International Pension Centre
If your Grand Aunt does leave the country then she should let the International Pension Centre know so that they may update her address.
Thank you.
