Hello, I paid a few thousand euro of voluntary contributions in the last 12 months after applying to plug gaps in my record. I'm currently living in EU. I haven't heard back when other colleagues in similar position and timeframe have. If I want to apply for a refund then how do I do this and how long will it take?

Please contact the National Insurance helpline to check if your payment has been received, and to discuss your options on applying for a refund. The contact number is +44 191 2037010, lines are open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
