We are attempting to close down our payroll system on Basic PAYE Tools. In order to do this, we need to add leaver date and status to the remaining two employees, one of whom is a director, one is not. Whenever we try to add a leaving date for either of the employees, we get to the "Are you sure?" page and click Next. The following page comes up with an error stating "Error: This page contains one or more errors. See details below.", but no errors are marked below and nothing appears to be wrong. We are currently working in the 21/22 tax year, The last payment dates were 19/03/22 and the leaver date we're attempting to add is 31/03/22. We have not activated the new tax Year (as we are hoping not to have to do so) and as such none of the end of year routines for 21/22 have been done yet. If somebody is going to suggest the telephone helpline, please suggest a number where we won't get automatically cut off.

You will need to contact the Online Services Helpdesk on 0300 200 3600.

They are able to assit with any technical issues on the Basic PAYE Tools.
