How to correct defective unsubmitted FPS

The employee will be leaving on 31.1.2025. The date has been filled up on the Leaver site. The FPS made for Jan 2025 is defective. It has not yet been submitted. How can the employer correct the FPS before submission.

Hi,
It is difficult to advise you on what is the best way to correct your payroll without knowing what the issue is with the January FPS or what software package you are using.
In this case, you may be best rolling your software back one month - to a prior position, i.e. as it was in December 2024 and re-running January payroll.
