PAYE tools is staying in 2016-2017 refusing to go to 2022-2023

Hi, I would like to ask if it can be fixed. while trying to complete the 2021-2022 filing, i dont know how come it went to 2016-2017. this asked me to complete on 2016-2017 and led me to select yes or no for eligible for employement allowance for 2016-2017 , I clicked no and wanted to finish it . it asked me again to submit it which i did but it brought error ( code number 7806) . How can i go back to 2021-2022 to complete my FPS . Tried to contact HMRC many times but since im abroad, i ts difficult. please help me with it.

Hi, It sounds like you are on 2016-17 tab, to get to 2021-22 you need to go along each tax year. So, you would need to select 2017-18 then once you are in this year you would select 2018-19 and so on, until you reach the 2021-22 required year. I would also check your software is up to date with latest version updates applied.
