We have a client who is an Irish resident and a Director of a UK company and also has rental properties in the UK. She used to be a UK resident and wants to carry on paying National Insurance to build up her qualifying years. What is the simplest way for her to pay enough NI? Can she take a salary through the payroll of her company without having to register the company in Ireland? Or can she pay Class 2 or Class 3 NI on her Tax Return?
