I work remotely for a British registered company from Egypt and have had an NT code for the last 6 months. My company now wishes to hold some in-person meetings in the UK and I would like to know how this affects my tax status. I will only be in the UK for about 2 weeks but during that time I will meet with colleagues and continue work online as usual. I have no intention of staying longer in the UK. Should I remove the NT code for the time period that I am in the UK and if so, can I then re-apply it once I leave? Or will this temporary situation not affect it?

Hi
You will still be classed as non UK tax resident as you are not in the UK long enough and the NT status can continue.
Thankyou
