If some of our employees wanted to work remotely once a year for 1 or two weeks, would this have any tax implications for us or would it all depend on the country they are visiting?

Working remotely for short periods of time is unlikely to have any tax implications for either the employer or the employee.

Employees should however aquaint themselves with the tax residency rules of any country they work in.
