May I ask if the tax advisor company registered on ACCA - can I expect that the company has met HMRC standards as agent? (standard: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/hmrc-the-standard-for-agents/hmrc-the-standard-for-agents) Thanks Kwan

Hi,

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA, have their own set of standards that their members abide by. You would need to contact the ACCA to confirm that their standards meet or exceed those outlined by HMRC.

We expect all agents who interact with HMRC to keep to our standards, regardless of whether they are a member of a professional body, or which professional body they belong to.

Thank you.
