Change Name

Hi, I moved to the United States in 2008, I had a name change, and obtained a new UK Passport. I am trying to access my gateway but my details don't match my passport so I cannot enter my gateway account. What do you need for me to do a name change with HMRC so I can access my tax records and pay for additional pension years. I can send the court records of the name change, and the passport. What else will you need? I tried to call but I keep getting cut off.

Hi I am changing my name, have been successful with passport and driver license, my problem is I no longer have a middle name and when I change my name using the form on my gov gateway account there was no option for blank middle name - just change or not change, how should I proceed by writing?

Hi, my name is Sandeep. I do not have a surname and I am unable to open my HMRC online account. When I try to open the account, a message pops up saying that my details do not match.

Dear Team, my child's last name is wrong on the HMRC system, he has my family name instead of his dad's family name that is what is on his birth certificate and passport. I have only realised this as he is 16 and has received his national insurance number. How can get this corrected?

Hi, I have two first names (no middle name), for example, if my first name is "Bubba Jo." However, when I sign into my Self-Assessment account, my profile only displays one of my first names, such as "Bubba." How can I update my profile to show both first names, "Bubba Jo," if I haven't legally changed my name? P.S. I have already submitted my end-of-tax-year return. Thanks in advance!
