Could you please tell me whether my interpretation of my adjusted net income is correct for entitlement to tax free childcare £100,000 threshold)? Total income is £110000 I pay a total of 12% pension through my employer’s scheme (employer 5.2%, me 6.8%), totalling £13200. The company give me tax relief at the basic rate. I understand that I can therefore gross up this amount when deducting from my net income? I therefore believe this gives me an adjusted net income of 110,000 - (13200 x 1.25) = £93,500 Is the above correct?

Hi,

When calculating your adjusted net income the employer contributions are not deducted.

Thank you.
