I am a vicar and so am required to live in tied accommodation with my job. I do not own the tied accommodation. I'd like to be able to buy my first house. I will then have somewhere to live if I either change job, lose my job, or retire. Is it possible to use a LISA to do this even though I will not occupy the house straightaway? Natwest have given us a residential mortgage and say they would give us consent to let on a residential mortgage because of our tied accommodation. Would we able to let out the property in the meantime while I live in tied accommodation?
