I need more help with this request. I understand Foreign state pensions are taxed differently. Please explain and advise how to do this Thank you

Please see my previous reply. Just saying "Please refer to Tax on foreign income" (twice) is no help to me at all. I have asked for your assiatance, please read again my request above and provide an explanation. Pointing to a section of the HMRC manuals is of no help to me. I need to understand from an HMRC tax person what I need to do.

Have a look at the double taxation treaty, which says that the Canadian state (social security) pension will be taxed only in the UK. It is likely you will be required to submit a Self Assessment tax return and foreign pages.
