Hello, how can I work out if I'm eligible for FIG? I will be returning to the UK this summer after 15 years of being non-resident for UK tax. I will be earning a salary from a company based outside of the UK for the remainder of the tax year. Will that salary be taxable?

Hi mlynes Lynes,
If you are UK tax resident for the whole tax year, you are taxable in the UK on all of your world wide income and capital gains.
If you choose to use the FIG option, please have a look here:
Tax on foreign income
Thank you.
