Hi If you purchased your main residence in 2003 and have an outstanding mortgage on it as a mortgage prisoner ( £400,150 on a property value of £800,000 ) ...and now want to remortgage on a lifetime mortgage as now retired....can you protect a younger spouse from having to leave the property on your death by adding her to the title and lifetime mortgage deeds on the remortgage WITHOUT INCURRING STAMP DUTY? Thanks
