Hi my annual tax summary for last year shows that I was just over £100k so I will have to repay underpayment of paye from April next year. Can I make a retrospective avc into a pension to reduce my income for that year? I have not fully used my allowance for pension payments ever. Thank you

Hi,
No, relief is only due in the tax year the contribution is made and cannot be carried back.
Thank you.
