Will an individual who has been a UK tax resident for one year on 5 April 2025 but was non-resident for a period of ten years straight before that year (i.e., resident from April 2024-2025 but non-resident from April 2014-2024) be able to use the new FIG regime?

HMRC is unable to provide any further detail on how these changes will apply to an individual’s personal circumstances at this time.
