reclaiming foreign tax on divs -delays in getting HMRC to confirm UK residence

Good afternoon We regularly reclaim excess tax deducted on dividends from a Swiss company, which requires HMRC to confirm our UK residence on Swiss form 86. It's always taken some months to get the stamped forms back from HMRC, but we're still waiting for the return of the ones sent in June 2022, or indeed any reply. Is there a particular problem with this department? Should we re-send the docs? thanks

Thanks for getting back. I was eventually able to speak to a helpful advisor, who told me that I should get the form back by the end of October - so after about 16 months. There is, apparently, something of a backlog.

Thank you. I did get through to a helpful advisor, who told me I should get it back by the end of October. That would be 16 months from the date of submission, of course.
