I have been in receipt of tax free childcare and 30 free nursery hours. I am self employed and so my income is a bit unpredictable but I am now pretty sure my income for 22/23 is going to be more than £100,000 which is hasn’t been before. I actually lost entitlement last month anyway as my wife is no longer working but I am concerned that I may be perceived to have made false declarations earlier this year when I stated that I I did not expect to have a taxable income of more than £100,000 in the current tax year although I believed it to be true at the time. Do I need to take any action or am I going to be fined by HMRC?
