I am a PAYE employee that does not currently do Tax returns. I want to reduce my net adjusted income by paying in to a SIPP and not claiming the tax back. How do I inform HMRC that I have done this?

Hi James Vassallo
You can check, the guidance, if you should complete a tax return at Check if you need to send a Self Assessment tax return.
Guidance is also available at Tax on your private pension contributions: Tax relief.
Thank you
