HI, I will be receiving a Capital Distribution from the winding up of a solvent Ltd Company. I understand that this payment is subject to Capital Gains Tax but that this ‘income’ does not contribute to my Adjusted Net Income that is relevant for Child Benefit Purposes. Is this correct ? Many thanks for your help with this D

Hi DaveyCh70,
Yes, your share of the Capital Distribution will be subject to Capital Gains tax, and will not be included when calculating your total Adjusted Net Income.
Thank you
