I have no way of notifying HMRC about my legal name change without first confirming my gateway user, which I can't do because my previous documents have been invalidated when I got my new passport. The reason why I don't have a confirmed user is that HMRC required me to either have a UK passport or a driving license, which I don't have. Please tell me what to do?

Can’t access tax team as they also want same verification. My National Insurance name is different to that of my passport and P60 as they are in my maiden name. I do not have any other ID, how can I change details

I am having the same problem as Janet and am becoming increasingly frustrated at the inability to change my name. I too have tried phoning but I cannot verify my identity. Please help us!
