Basically I've been clearing the house out selling various things and have gone over the £1000 allowance. No individual items got anywhere near the £6000 capital gains allowance and overall income is actually less than £6000 anyway. However I am unemployed so have no other income so am within the £12500 income allowance anyway so no tax will be owed. Do I need to fill in a self-assessment despite not being a sole trader to avoid a fine? Thanks
