Hi. I am looking at an opportunity which would involve spending the majority of my time living in Ireland, holding a job with a UK employer, working remotely in Ireland with time to time visit to Uk office. Employment would be mainly Line 2 credit risk review, decisioning and oversight utilising a delegated authority. There would be no authority to document/ trade / contract direct with clients. Prospective employer does not trade in Ireland and has no plans to do so. My question is, would I be able to continue to be paid in STG and pay tax in the UK via Dual Taxation arrangements whilst living in Ireland or would I require to be paid in Euro and organise payroll to pay personal tax in Ireland?

Hi,
How you are paid is between you and the employer.
Where you are eliable for tax is dependant on your tax residence status.
Please refer to:
RDR3 Statutory Residence Test
Thank you.
