My accountant submitted both mine and my husbands accounts back in June. She said we don't owe any tax. But still when I look in the portal HMRC are saying that the tax has not been calculated yet. They say its done between June and October, its now November. I have asked the accountant and she says al good her end. HMRC say they are still collecting information?? Anyone else have this?

Hi Tooroxy, I have something similar. Retired for 10 years, drawing down SIPP. Used to get a P800 in October or rarely November. No P800 thus far and personal tax a/c says similar to yours. Considering submitting a self-assessment. There must be loads of us in the same boat. Come on guys, tell us what's going on!!

Hi Tooroxy, i'm similarily waiting for P800 same as you. Showing "tax has not yet been calculated" on my personal tax account. Annoyingly, also on my HMRC mobile app, it shows all the details HMRC needs to calculate my refund (Income, Tax paid etc...), but still no P800. How frustating is it, when you KNOW they have all the details they need, but are seemingly delaying refunds !!!

I am in exactly same situation. I know they owe me a refund for overpayment, but keep getting message it hasnt been calculated. Cannot get through on phone so I have written and sent letter beginning of December. If no response by end December, second letter will go, copied to my MP.
