Marriage Allowance - Change in Circumstances

My husband was on a low income so I had his part of the tax code moved over to me. He has just found another job. His income will be 22k and mine is 14k. His code is 1131 and my code is 1375. We have just applied to cancel the marriage allowance, however we have received notification that it wont now happen until the end of this current tax year 5.4.24. Is this an issue ?

No, you would still pay the same tax overall by leaving it in place till the end of the year.
