Tax liability on transferring funds from UK to India

Hi, I am a resident in UK and want to transfer the money I have earned in UK to India (around 20,000£). Is there any limit on the amount of money I can send in a financial year? Also, is there any tax liability that I have to give to transfer this amount?

There is no UK limit on what you can transfer but you may wish to check the tax laws in India for both limits and any liability,
