Hello, For this coming financial year, HMRC have marked my estimated income at a lower scale than I actually get paid on my PAYE. I think they have done this with looking at my previous P60. I'm fortunate that my salary has increased along with a bonus. So my question is, do I update my estimated income for 23-24 to what I believe I'm earning including a potential bonus? The bonus isn't guaranteed, so if I declare my estimated income with a bonus and I don't receive it, I would've paid too much tax?

Hi
You can update it to include the estimated bonus.
During the year if you believe you won't get the bonus you can adjust it.
It would only have an impact if it takes you over 100k as this is when your Personal Allowance starts to decrease.
Thank you.
