Hi, I am just wondering about something regarding to my saving interest in 23/24 i got some saving interest higher than 1k lower than 10k, and i am employed as a basic tax rate payer. My understanding is i dont need to reg SA, HMRC will collect the saving interest tax due through my payslip/tax code changing next year. However i dont like this way, my question is can i register SA for 23/24 and pay tax in one go for my interest income? if so how can i do this thanks

Hi,
If you would like to register for Self Assessment, you can do so here:
Register for Self Assessment if you are not self-employed
Thank you.
