We've been EU resident for 8 years and paying tax abroad but not UK. I see our pension provider had not stopped adding the tax relief on the contributions during that time. How do we repay it and were we entitled to any of the tax relief during that time? What are the implications for the pension pot? The total gross payment per year was £2100.

Hi susanbenita,
You need to advise the pension company who will then arrange to contact HMRC to pay back any excess.
Thank you.
