I am a pensioner on PAYE. My recent tax account letter for 2023-2024 shows £60 income from dividends but I do not own any shares. Where could this figure have come from and how do I get it removed? There is also a total amount for savings interest but no breakdown as to how this was accrued. How can I get this information? I have not been sent any notifications re interest earned from any organisations that I save with. Lastly I have gift aided many charitable donations in the tax year. How are these recorded and accounted for by HMRC? Thank you.

Hi,
For a breakdown of your bank interest, and to allow us to update your record with your gift aid donations, contact our Income Tax team by webchat, phone or post via:
Income Tax: general enquiries
This will also allow us to review where the dividend entry has originated from, and then remove from your record if necessary.
Thank you.
