Workplace pension - Relief at source - March contribution paid after the 6th of April

Hi, My workplace has a relief at source pension. The contribution for the month of March was paid on the pension after the 6th of April. Could you confirm if the contribution should go to: - the previous tax year, as the money was taken from the March payslip - the current tax year, as the money was paid into the pension in the new tax year Kind regards, Emile

If the payment for March 2022 was paid into the pension scheme on or after 6 April 2022, then the payment is considered to be made in the new tax year 2022 to 2023. Thank you.
