I have to retire due to ill health, I will draw on 2 separate personal pensions, together they will NOT exceed the tax threshold. How will the 2 pension companies know not to charge tax, because my income does not exceed the personal tax threshold limit.

Hi,
Contact us by webchat or phone via: Income Tax: general enquiries - using details of your expected income, we can issue tax codes to both pension sources with enough allowances to keep both pensions tax free through the year.
Thank you.
